Time flies.
Time Flies.The Free dictionary says:
- a certain period has passed surprisingly quickly.
- Etymology: based on the saying Time flies when you are having fun.
The Urban dictionary says:
- Time goes fly. The state when one experiences something rapidly; the event when time flies.
And I say, time flies in just a blink of the eye.
Just last year, I'm still studying and enjoying all the privilege of being a student. The discounts. The 'baons'. The all nighters. The sleepovers.
Just last last month, I'm actually enjoying the like cloud9 feeling of graduating college.
Just last month, I'm oversleeping everyday because I'm jobless.
Just last last last week, I attended some job fairs. Got interviewed and pass.
Just last last week, I started to get all the requirements needed for the job.
Just last week, I attended their orientation and training.
Just earlier, I'm sleeping and now I'm blogging.
Just a little later, I'll be off to work.
So what's next on my time after it flies? Will I fail? Will I be successful? Will I just stay on where I am right now?
Okay, I just ended up making things more complicated when I continue being like this. I just wanted to remind myself that, YES, EM. TIME FLIES RAPIDLY, SO JUST ENJOY YOURSELF. IN WHATEVER THINGS YOU DO. GIVE YOUR BEST. YOUR 200% BEST. ENJOY BEING WITH THE PEOPLE YOU DON'T KNOW. ENJOY THE PEOPLE. THE PLACES. THE CIRCUMSTANCES. I KNOW THAT LIFE WILL GIVE ME TROUBLES, BUT I KNOW THAT GOD WILL NOT GIVE ME TROUBLES I CANNOT OVERCOME.
This is my realization that I'm no longer a student. I'm now here, in the real world, world full of trouble yet still so beautiful because of the people in it.
Today, I'm nervous because this is my real first day of work. I want this. I'm going to love this, and I'm going to overcome this and be successful. And I think I'm just over thinking things. Hehe.
